It takes a village to rescue a dog and that is the simple truth. We are most fortunate to have a village and I appreciate all involved - both individuals and businesses. Knowing that so many dogs up north are still waiting to be understood and valued is heart breaking. We work together to rescue, heal and save lives.
Over the years we have made lasting friends with people who have adopted our dogs. They support and plan our fundraisers, spread the gospel on rescue work, talk us through our dark days and believe in what we do. The days would be far too long without these people and I appreciate them all.
When a business is able to look up from what it does to see a need or respect an effort I am impressed. We share our success with several such businesses who became involved simply because we needed them to. Rarely is there something in it for them other than goodwill, and that is rare today.
Dr. Scott Bainbridge from the Dundas West Animal Hospital in Toronto has just joined the Moosonee Puppy Rescue Team along with his associates and we are most grateful. Quite often our dogs and pups are fostered in Toronto and we now have a vet working with us that can treat them whenever the need arises. This means the world to us and lessens our load considerably. The Dundas West team are warm, considerate and caring people and we encourage you all to meet them and entrust your magnificent dog to them. They are located at 2160 Dundas St. W. (Dundas & Roncesvalles) and their web site is www.dundaswestvets.com.
No one knows more about the joy and happy dirt of dogs than Bissell Canada and they have offered to partner with us to make our workload a bit lighter. Having seven dogs of our own and many rescues in and out of the house we needed the powerful help of Bissell and we not only thank them for their support and generosity but for their understanding and respect for the work we do.
NICOLE SIMONE OF REDEMPTION DOGS
Nicole is a remarkable woman who shares our passion for rescue dogs. We first met when we did a promotion where our pups would visit offices in the Toronto area to share their spirits and raise money through donations. The pups could not be adopted through the visits but they could spread happiness and goodwill. They raised exposure for all rescue dogs. Our volunteers handled the pups and cared for them through the visits but it was Nicole who arranged and managed everything.
Through Redemption Dogs and Redemption Puppies, Nicole works with shelters and rescue groups to raise both awareness and donations.
Nicole is also an amazing photographer and she celebrates rescue dogs and their humans in her photos.
KATE FERGUSON, OWNER OF UNLEASHED IN THE CITY
I want to thank Unleashed in the City for their enthusiastic support and hosting adoption days for Moosonee Puppy Rescue.
DAVID FRIESEN, THE RIVERWALK RESTAURANT
David Friesen offered his restaurant for the "Winter Dogs" fundraiser before he had even adopted one of our pups. He understood the need and was more than generous in all he did for us. David is a master chef and he supports Savour Muskoka which promotes the use of ingredients grown or produced in the Muskoka region. The Riverwalk Restaurant is part of the community we share and we are both proud and grateful to be associated.
PET VALU CANADA
PetValu Canada donates food from their warehouse in North Toronto when they have a surplus. We greatly appreciate their generosity and the extra effort required from the warehouse staff.

We are more than fortunate to work with the vets we do. So much of what we accomplish would not be possible without them. Whether it be by providing information or performing major surgery they work with us to improve the lives of the dogs in our care. They understand rescue work and value each and every dog we take them. We greatly appreciate

MARIO RICCI, MAN PAINTS DOG
Mario Ricci, of Man Paints Dog, is more than a talented artist. He is able to capture the soul of dog and express it's character through his work. He offers us a true moment in time in all he creates and gives us a memory we can revisit over and over again. Whether he works with oils or water colours he will take your breath away with the finished product. A percentage of all the work he sells is generously donated to Moosonee Puppy Rescue and we thank him for that.
EYEDEAS DESIGN & COMMUNICATIONS INC.
Eyedeas Design & Communications Inc. uses their creative talents, energy and resources to assist us with any printing needs we have. They most recently designed the tickets for the Spring 2011 fundraiser. We simply cannot thank them enough for their inspiration and expertise. Toronto, Ontario | 416-449-1420
Ron Henry Jewelers are kind enough to provide the sterling silver dogs tags we wear and sell. The engraved words, "Rescue a dog and it rescues you right back" speak to how fortunate we are to work with these remarkable animals. The kindness and support of Ron Henry Jewellers is greatly appreciated. Huntsville Place Mall | 705-789-3773
Jacquelyn Ohinski has adopted three of our dogs over the years and they could not have found a better home. I believe these MPR dogs led Jacquelyn to begin her own dog walking and pet sitting business so that she can share her talents with many. She has a spirit and an energy that dogs respond to and her appreciation of each individual dog is most impressive. I recommend both Jacquelyn and her services highly. She is donating $1 from each of the ten services offered to MPR, when purchased and we are most grateful.
