Our puppies are only placed in homes where there is someone with them during the day. They have had a harsh beginning in life and can never feel abandoned again.  To Adopt please contact Sharron.  We are located just north of Bracebridge, Ontario. We do not have standard kennel facilities as all the dogs are cared for in our home or cabin-like shelter. Issues to be discussed are: residence situation (house, townhouse, apartment)  yard or property - fenced children in the home - ages hours the dog will be alone without humans other household pets indoor / outdoor dog previous dogs experience amount of money expected to be paid for vet care The final step of the process is a home visit and if all works out the dog is placed at that time. As of April 2, 2010 we will have to increase our adoption  fee to $250 for each dog we place. The rising costs of  care and travel make this necessary. It is hard to put a price on these remarkable creatures and we resisted as long as we could. If approved for adoption it is required that a contract be signed agreeing to have the puppy spayed or neutered when it is six months of age ( we do not believe in pediatric altering).
